MyFutureFest 2015 MyFutureFest is coming to campus next week (9th-13th February) aiming to help you explore your career options, find out about work experience opportunities, and to connect with employers. There are a number of events taking place across campus so there are plenty of ways you can get involved. The Domes (Tues 10th-Wed 11th Feb)ation and advice from arrange of different services in University and take part in interactive activities. Explore Dome â€" Chat to staff of the Careers Service about the graduate job market and begin to explore your career options. We’ll have loads of resources for you to pick up and a challenge for you to take part in! Also in the explore dome staff from The Atrium and Students Union. Experience Dome â€" Find out about the different work experience opportunities and extra-curricular activities that could boost your CV. Speak to the Careers Service about getting work experience wither whilst you study or during the summer, University College about free modules such as The Manchester Leadership Programme you can take, and SPORT Manchester about the clubs and societies you can join. Connect Dome â€" Discover the ways you can connect with employers and build up your network. Find out about the Manchester Gold Mentoring Scheme theCareers Service runs, talk to the Alumni Association   and Members of Peer Support. Also in this dome will be a LinkedIn photo booth and a range of hot drinks/snacks. Employer Information Fair (Thurs 12th Feb) Following on from the Connect Dome this fair taking place in Academy 2 gives you the change to meet and chat to a range of different employers. The Careers Service will also be on hand to give advice about career opportunities and how to get into certain sectors. A list of the employers attending the fair can be found on our website. Fringe Events Along with the main events we have a range of fringe events taking place across both campuses. Check out the events open to all students that are currently organised there will be more to follow. School Specific Events We have also arranged events open for students in specific schools. These events are only for students in the School they are being held in. You can find out about what’s going on and sign up for events here.
